About the Role
Join our dedicated Children's Team in Bolton as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and enhancing the lives of children and families in our community. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
Developing and implementing tailored care plans in partnership with families and other agencies.
Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with local authority policies.
Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.
Providing emotional support and guidance to children and their families, helping them navigate challenges.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
Registration with Social Work England.
Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
