We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive junior school in Dagenham that is seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable PPA teacher to join their team from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher who enjoys variety and is confident teaching across the primary age range. The successful PPA teacher will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning throughout the school by providing high-quality classroom cover, enabling class teachers to undertake their planning, preparation, and assessment responsibilities.

The role will involve teaching classes from EYFS through to Year 6, so flexibility, strong classroom management skills, and a positive attitude are essential.

Role Details

• Full-time position
• September 2026 start
• Working hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
• Based in Dagenham
• Paid in line with the Inner London Teachers' Pay Scale
• Teaching across EYFS to Year 6

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across all primary key stages.
• Follow lesson plans and maintain continuity of learning.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and school leaders.
• Contribute positively to the wider school community.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience teaching within the primary phase.
• Flexibility to teach across all key stages, including EYFS through to Year 6.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• A commitment to high standards within education and training.
