Carmichael UK is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major section of the HS2 project in Northamptonshire. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of one of the UKās largest and most high-profile infrastructure developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out and surveying works in accordance with project specifications
- Ensuring all engineering activities comply with quality and safety standards
- Managing and interpreting technical drawings and site documentation
- Supporting site management with daily operations and progress reporting
- Coordinating with subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered to programme
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on large infrastructure or civil engineering projects
- Strong background in steel reinforced concrete (RC works) ā essential
- Proficient in setting out using relevant equipment (e.g. GPS, total station)
- Solid understanding of health & safety regulations on site
- CSCS card (essential)
- Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related discipline preferred
