the people and communities we serve.</font></span></p><p><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">The Plumber conducts and oversees plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance. Performs a full range of plumbing work and applies knowledge of plumbing and building codes, trade standards and tools, and complies with company and contractual policies and procedures.</font></span></p><ul><li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Oversees and coordinates all areas of plumbing within the facility.<span> </span>Assembles, installs, maintains and repairs pipes, fittings, equipment and fixtures.<span> </span>Uses a variety of hand tools and special equipment, such as mechanical and power drills, cutters, benders, pipe threaders and welders.<span> </span>Determines materials needed for repair work, prepares requisitions and monitors inventory.<span> </span><span> </span></font></span></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Installs and repairs plumbing fixtures, equipment and plumbing systems such as sinks, commodes, bathtubs, showers, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, cooking kettles, disposals, drainage systems, grease traps, water softeners, water coolers, air conditioners and others as required.</font></span></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Installs, modifies, maintains, and repairs new and existing high temperature water and high-pressure piping systems and equipment, such as steam heating, steam generating, flash and expansion tanks, condensate vacuum, and circulating pumps and radiators.</font></span></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Installs, maintains and repairs gas lines on various equipment.</font></span></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Installs, services and maintains fire extinguishers, hydrants, and sprinkler systems.</font></span></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Installs, modifies, maintains and repairs hydraulic and pneumatic systems for the control and operation of water and air systems, processes and machinery.</font></span></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Services and maintains both sanitary and storm sewers.<span> </span>Determines the layout, pitch, elevation, pressure reduction, expansion, and operation of various piping systems and equipment. </font></span></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Fills pipe system with water or air and reads pressure gauges to determine whether system is leaking.</font></span></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Performs related work as assigned.<span> </span>May assist other skilled trade's workers on projects requiring multiple trade specialty areas. </font></span></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Provides for the proper supervision and tracking of inmates/residents assigned to the Maintenance Department.<span> </span>Escorts inmates/residents or coordinates the movement of inmates/residents to and from different areas.</font></span></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Prepares and maintains a variety of standard operating records and reports, as required.<span> </span>Processes all work orders, reports, purchase requisitions and other documents in a timely manner.</font></span></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Inspects for items that could be used as contraband, weapons or implements of escape by inmates/residents.<span> </span>Provides for the secure storage, proper use and/or safe disposal of tools, supplies and equipment.<span> </span>Cleans and maintains all tools in proper working order.</font></span></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Completes work orders in accordance with company standards for workmanship and housekeeping, and in compliance with building codes, blueprints, manuals and/or other applicable procedures, standards or specifications.</font></span></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Follows safety policies and regulations, and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) standards.<span> </span>Takes appropriate action in cases of serious and unusual incidents and emergencies.</font></span></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Domestic U.S. travel may be required.</font></span></li></ul></span></span><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: "Times New Roman";"><p style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><strong><font size="3">Qualifications:</font></strong></span></p><ul><li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Graduate with High School diploma, GED certification or equivalent is required. </font></span></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Possession of a Journeyman's Plumbing License and two years of plumbing experience is required or an Associate's degree in a related plumbing, building or maintenance trade and two years of plumbing experience is required.<span> </span></font></span></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">An additional three years of experience may be substituted for the license or education requirement for a total of five years of plumbing experience</font></span></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Minimum Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age. </font></span></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">A valid driver's license is required.</font></span></li></ul><p style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;
