<p>Hiring Now: Commercial Gas Engineer – Hospitality Specialist<br /> Salary: £35k &#8211; £40k + Van + Benefits + overtime<br /> Position: Full-Time, Permanent</p> <p>We are currently seeking a skilled and fully qualified Commercial Gas Engineer with experience in the hospitality industry. This role involves working across a range of hospitality venues including hotels, restaurants, pubs, and catering facilities, delivering high-quality service and ensuring safety and compliance.</p> <p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p> <ul> <li>Install, service, and repair commercial gas heating and catering systems within hospitality environments</li> <li>Deliver both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs tailored to hospitality clients’ needs</li> <li>Diagnose and resolve faults on boilers, commercial kitchen gas appliances, and safety interlock systems</li> <li>Carry out gas safety inspections and compliance certifications specific to hospitality venues</li> <li>Work within busy commercial kitchens, plant rooms, and heating systems to minimise downtime</li> <li>Complete plumbing tasks related to water systems and pipework when needed</li> <li>Ensure all work complies with current safety standards and hospitality regulations</li> </ul> <p><strong>Candidate Requirements</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Valid Gas Safe registration with commercial qualifications (COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, or equivalent)</li> <li>Minimum 3 years’ experience working within commercial gas systems, ideally with hospitality clients</li> <li>Proven knowledge of commercial catering gas appliances and heating systems</li> <li>Plumbing experience beneficial</li> <li>Full UK driving licence required (company van provided)</li> <li>Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills</li> <li>Ability to work independently and deliver prompt, reliable service to hospitality businesses</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We Offer:</strong><br /> Competitive salary: £35k &#8211; £40k<br /> Company van and fuel card</p> <p>Tools and PPE provided<br /> Overtime and on-call pay (where applicable)<br /> Paid travel time and uniform<br /> Opportunities for professional growth and training<br /> Friendly, supportive team environment<br /> Long-term contracts with leading hospitality clients</p>
