<p>I am supporting a fresh produce business in seeking a detail-focused Technical Compliance Officer to help ensure the delivery of safe, legal, and high-quality products. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving food safety and compliance standards across site operations.</p>
<p><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and legal standards (e.g. BRCGS, GlobalG.A.P., customer specifications)</li>
<li>Lead internal audits and drive continuous improvement</li>
<li>Manage non-conformances and corrective actions, including root cause analysis</li>
<li>Support food safety systems, HACCP processes, and technical projects</li>
<li>Maintain high hygiene standards across operations</li>
<li>Oversee accurate record-keeping and KPI reporting</li>
<li>Supervise a small team and support staff training</li>
<li>Assist with pest control coordination and site compliance activities</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>About you:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience in technical compliance within food or fresh produce</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of food safety standards and auditing</li>
<li>HACCP Level 2 (or higher) and Food Safety Level 2 (or higher) preferred</li>
<li>Confident communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Able to work in a fast-paced, seasonal environment with flexibility</li>
</ul>
<p>Benefits:</p>

<li>Salary £32-37k doe</li>
