Patient Access Representative LOCATION: Jasper, TX | Onsite COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE • Pay: $14.29 to $15.31/hour • Schedule: Monday to Friday | Full-time • Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire | W2 ROLE IMPACT Join a healthcare team as the first point of contact for patients, helping ensure a positive experience from registration through financial clearance. Success in this role means maintaining accurate patient information, supporting efficient front-end operations, and delivering exceptional customer service while following healthcare regulations and organizational policies. RESPONSIBILITIES • Register, schedule, and assist patients while accurately entering demographic, insurance, and financial information. • Verify insurance eligibility, obtain required authorizations, and collect patient financial responsibility, including prior balances. • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation while protecting confidential information. • Communicate professionally with patients, families, providers, insurance companies, and internal departments. • Support daily patient access operations and collaborate with clinical and administrative teams. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • High school diploma or equivalent required. • 1+ years of patient registration and insurance verification experience • Experience in medical office support, healthcare customer service, or patient admissions preferred. • Must live within a 30-mile radius of Jasper, TX. PREFERRED SKILLS • Experience with insurance verification, authorizations, and patient collections. • Strong data entry, computer, communication, and customer service skills. • Dependable, detail-oriented, professional, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
