About the Role
<p><span>We are looking for an experienced <strong>Production Manager</strong> to join an exciting international project in <strong>Munich, Germany</strong>, supporting the launch and scale-up of the final assembly process for an innovative <strong>smart e-bike / cargo e-mobility</strong> solution designed for the B2B market.</span></p><p><span>This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in building a production operation from the ground up. You will be responsible for designing and implementing the final assembly process, establishing production standards, preparing workstations, and leading a small technical team through the production ramp-up phase.</span></p><p><span>If you enjoy creating efficient manufacturing environments, solving complex production challenges, and driving continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you! </span></p><h2><span>Responsibilities</span></h2><ul><li><p><span>Design, launch, and continuously optimize the final assembly process.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Prepare the production layout, workstations, work instructions, and quality standards.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Define, implement, monitor, and report production KPIs.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Plan, coordinate, and prioritize the daily activities of the assembly team.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Support production ramp-up and resolve technical and process-related issues.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Train, mentor, and develop Industrial Technicians.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and productivity.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Collaborate closely with management, HR, Procurement, and external partners to ensure smooth project execution.</span></p></li></ul><h2><span>Requirements</span></h2><ul><li><p><strong>Currently based in Szczecin or Wrocław and willing to relocate to Munich for an on-site assignment.</strong></p></li><li><p><span><strong>Several years of experience in manufacturing, production, or final assembly environments</strong>.</span></p></li><li><p><span><strong>Proven experience in </strong>designing, implementing, and optimizing production processes.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong practical knowledge of production KPIs, production planning, quality standards, and process documentation.</span></p></li><li><p><span><strong>Experience leading production teams</strong> or coordinating technicians and operators.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to prioritize tasks, make decisions, and perform effectively in a fast-paced production ramp-up environment.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.</span></p></li><li><p><span><strong>Professional English (C1 level)</strong> is required.</span></p></li><li><p><span>German language skills are considered a strong advantage.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience in automotive, e-mobility, electromechanics, mechatronics, modular assembly, automation, robotics, technical equipment manufacturing, diagnostics, or industrial maintenance will be an asset.</span></p></li></ul><h2><span>Project details</span></h2><ul><li><p><span><strong>Location:</strong> Munich, Germany</span></p></li><li><p><span><strong>Work model:</strong> On-site</span></p></li><li><p><span><strong>Start date:</strong> <strong>ASAP (August)</strong></span></p></li><li><p><span><strong>Duration:</strong> Currently planned until the end of 2026, with a potential extension.</span></p></li><li><p><span><strong>Accommodation:</strong> <strong>Provided by the client</strong> (apartment available for project team members for free).</span></p></li><li><p><span><strong>Travel/rotation:</strong> To be confirmed – full-time presence in Munich or rotational model.</span></p></li></ul>
