About the role: We are currently recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive educational setting in Winsford on a full-time, long-term basis starting in September. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated education professional who is passionate about supporting pupils’ learning and development. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and support staff, delivering targeted interventions, leading learning activities, and helping to create a positive and inclusive environment where all pupils can thrive. Key Responsibilities: Deliver planned learning activities to individuals, small groups, and whole classes when required. Support teachers with lesson delivery, assessment, and classroom management. Lead targeted intervention sessions to support pupil progress and attainment. Monitor and record pupil achievement, providing feedback to teaching staff. Promote positive behaviour and support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development. Pre-requisites: HLTA qualification or significant experience in a similar educational support role. Previous experience working with children or young people within a school setting. Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and confidently lead learning activities. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
