A well-established (30 years) leading materials handling Company based in the York area are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer with a mechanical bias, to join the business. This role is working on a Monday to Friday days shift and salary is £33k - £40k.
The successful Service Engineer will be responsible for:
- Maintaining all manual handling equipment, FLT, Cherry Pickers on customer sites within a 50 mile radius of York
- Paid door to door
- Service van, tablet, mobile, PPE, provided
- Valid driving licence essential
- Thorough Examination inspection (LOLER & PUWER regs) trained is beneficial
- Equipment operator licenses preferred
- At least 3 years’ experience in same or related mechanical industry
- Must be able to work well as a team and on own initiative
