Position: Structural Steel CNC Machine Operator Location: Clackamas, OR 97015 Pay: $23.00 – $32.00 per hour (DOE) Schedule: Full-time | 40–50 hours/week | Overtime available Who We Are We are teaming up with a local steel fabrication company who specialize in structural steel for high-voltage transmission and substation infrastructure. As the largest producer of steel lattice towers in the Pacific Northwest, they take pride in their technical precision, integrity, and commitment to quality. What You’ll Do Operate CNC Machines: Set up and run Angle Master, Plate Burner, and Beamline systems for cutting, drilling, punching, and marking steel. Handle Materials: Use overhead cranes and forklifts to load and unload raw and finished materials. Perform Quality Checks: Inspect components using calipers, micrometers, and blueprints to ensure precision and adherence to specifications. Conduct Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, report equipment issues, and assist in mechanical troubleshooting. Collaborate with the Team: Work alongside foremen, programmers, and other team members to meet production targets and support process improvements.
