EYFS Teaching Assistant Nursery Stratford

About the role:

Justteachers are looking to appoint a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner pre schools located in Stratford

This is a full‑time, long‑term position starting ASAP.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting children across the EYFS curriculum
• Assisting the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging activities
• Helping to create a warm, stimulating learning environment
• Encouraging children’s social, emotional, and academic development

Pre-requisites:

Pre-requisites:

• Previous experience working with children with SEND (especially in a 1:1 capacity)
• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3) is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
• Ability to adapt to the pupil’s individual needs and learning style
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
