Certified Industrial Electrician February 13, 2026 Certified Industrial Electrician, Bathurst, New Brunswick Interfor is seeking energetic and enthusiastic team players to join our team as a Certified Industrial Electrician in Bathurst, New Brunswick. What You’ll Do Work in a safe and efficient manner while following all health and safety procedures, including lockout/tagout protocols. Identify health and safety issues and hazards to maintain a safe workplace. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems. Troubleshoot and repair issues in the sawmill, kilns and other site areas. Set up, troubleshoot, and repair PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMI (Human Machine Interface) and VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) motor controllers. Work on 600 Volt equipment such as motors and MCC’s (Motor Control Centers). Solving problems and working as part of a team focused on machine reliability and breakdown prevention. Other tasks as required or assigned by supervisor. What You Offer Post-secondary certification in Certified Industrial Electrician. Strong working knowledge with PLC’s. Sound understanding of safe work practices and safety regulations. Working knowledge of regulatory legislation. Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on safety. General physical abilities such as climbing stairs and lifting +/- 50 lbs. Excellent flexibility to work under pressure. Ability to work on day and/or night shift, for a duration of 8-13 hours. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Be able to take initiative and work efficiently and manage time effectively.
