Cover Supervisor – Lutterworth

About the role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-planned lessons during teacher absences, ensuring students remain focused and engaged with learning. This is an ideal opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers or individuals with experience working with young people. This will be on a long term supply basis starting in September 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Supervising classes across a range of subjects.

 

 

• Managing classroom behaviour effectively.

 

 

• Ensuring work set by teachers is completed.

 

 

• Supporting students with learning activities.

 

 

• Reporting lesson outcomes to teaching staff.

 

 

• Upholding school policies and safeguarding procedures.

 

Pre-requisites:

 

• Experience working with secondary-aged students.

 

 

• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.

 

 

• Professional and adaptable attitude.
