The Corliss Opening and Pre-Leasing Update August 26, 2025 The Corliss in Bay View has begun opening its first building and is on track to become Wisconsin’s largest privately developed affordable housing project upon full completion next year. The eight five-story buildings will deliver 576 income-restricted apartments—including two dedicated senior buildings—with the first two now ~80% pre-leased. Backed by LIHTC, TIF, and local funding, the $200M redevelopment repurposes Cream City brick and adds a public Kinnickinnic River Trail extension. Additional activity includes a 140-unit affordable community at 100 E.
