About the Role

<p><strong>Would you like to join the leading international intergovernmental organization?</strong><br><br>This is a senior-level architecture role requiring extensive experience in enterprise and solution architecture, system-of-systems design, and governance in complex federated environments. The position demands a professional capable of shaping architectures across business, infrastructure, and functional areas, ensuring alignment with relevant technical strategies and security policies.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Develops architectures in specific business, infrastructure or functional areas.</p></li><li><p>Ensures that appropriate tools and methods are available, understood and employed in architecture development.</p></li><li><p>Provides technical guidance on solution development and integration.</p></li><li><p>Evaluates requests for changes and deviations from specifications and recommends actions.</p></li><li><p>Ensures that relevant technical strategies, policies, standards andpractices (including security) are applied correctly.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Essential Qualifications &amp; Experience:</strong></p><p>The service contractor will be required to have strong experience in enterprise and solution architecture, system-of-systems design, and governance in complex federated environments. In particular, the following skills are considered required:</p><ol><li><p>Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including SysML and tools such as Cameo or Capella</p></li><li><p>Enterprise and solution architecture methods</p></li><li><p>NATO interoperability standards and architectural frameworks, including NAF, FMN, STANAGs, and TDL-related constraints</p></li><li><p>API and microservices design</p></li><li><p>Cloud-native and hybrid deployment architecture</p></li><li><p>Integration architecture and interface control </p></li></ol><p>The service contractor will be required to have a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree at a nationally recognised/certified university in a technical subject with substantial Information Technology (IT) content and 3 years post-related experience. As an exception, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate's particular abilities or experience that are of interest to the NCI Agency; namely, at least 5 years of extensive and progressive experience in the duties related to the functions of this post.</p><p><strong>Desirable: </strong></p><ul><li><p>Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of NATO organization, internal structure and resultant relationships.</p></li></ul><p>If you've read the description and feel this role is a great match, we'd love to hear from you!
