Senior Java / Android Developer Location: Remote (UK-based, with occasional office visits – typically 1 day per week)

Senior Java Developer with strong Android experience to join their engineering team.
The Role - Develop and maintain Java-based applications
- Build and enhance Android applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features
- Write clean, scalable, well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Contribute to architecture and Agile delivery
Requirements - Strong Java development experience
- Proven Android development (Android SDK, Android Studio)
- Knowledge of MVVM, ViewModel, LiveData
- Experience with Git
- Strong problem-solving skills and team mindset
Desirable - Payment systems or transaction platforms
- Embedded C/Linux experience
- Performance optimisation or testing experience
- Interest in security or cryptography
