Barlow, OR Locum Tenens

Oregon Nurse Practitioner (NP) Locum Tenens Opportunity
100% Telehealth Option Available • Assessment-Only Role • Full-Time or Part-Time

Rhino Medical is seeking Oregon-licensed Nurse Practitioners for an ongoing travel opportunity supporting patients throughout Oregon through a flexible telehealth-first practice model.

Providers may choose between a fully remote telehealth role or a hybrid model combining telehealth with in-home patient assessments, allowing Nurse Practitioners to tailor their practice to their preferred work style while delivering meaningful preventive care.

This assessment-focused position is ideal for experienced NPs seeking schedule flexibility, predictable daytime work, and the opportunity to focus exclusively on comprehensive health assessments and chronic disease reviews—without prescribing medications or providing ongoing treatment management.

Opportunity Highlights

Providers perform comprehensive annual wellness assessments and chronic condition reviews for adult and pediatric patients throughout Oregon.
The majority of patient interactions occur through telehealth, with providers who elect the hybrid model also completing occasional in-home assessments within their selected service area.

This is an assessment-only position focused on preventive care, risk identification, and documentation. No prescribing, medication management, or treatment planning responsibilities are required.

Clinical Responsibilities
Telehealth Only
This role supports patients across Oregon while providing Nurse Practitioners with the flexibility to practice remotely or combine telehealth with community-based home assessments. Providers residing near the Portland metropolitan area may choose the hybrid practice model, while fully qualified Oregon Medicaid-enrolled providers may work exclusively through telehealth.
