Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a Medical Assistant for Occupational Medicine in San Rafael, California. In this travel role, you’ll support an onsite occupational health team by assisting with injury prevention, first aid and triage, and early intervention for workplace-related concerns. You’ll also help document assessments and support return-to-work planning in partnership with safety and HR stakeholders.

Schedule Details

• Monday & Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Tuesday–Thursday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Clinical Scope

• Perform ergonomic assessments and support corrective strategies to reduce workplace injuries
• Provide first aid and triage support for musculoskeletal and non-musculoskeletal complaints
• Support employee education on injury prevention, wellness, and healthy lifestyle practices
• Partner with safety managers and HR teams to support workforce wellbeing initiatives
• Document assessments and provide actionable insights through data reporting
• Support early intervention and return-to-work plans for injured employees

Requirements

• California state license (accepted: CA)
• BLS

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in industrial, occupational health, or sports medicine settings
• Ergonomics and injury prevention experience
• Familiarity with OSHA recordability and workers’ compensation procedures
• CEAS or OSHA 10 certification
