Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:
Design software solutions that align with agreed standards, architecture, and requirements.
Develop high-quality, scalable, and secure systems.
Collaborate closely with team leads, team members, and product managers to define and implement roadmap features.
Contribute to and drive technological and architectural decisions.
Work with various R&D and support teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
Create high-quality, responsive UI applications adhering to web standards for accessibility and responsive design.
Share knowledge and lead best practices in technological processes.
Take ownership of tasks and drive them forward autonomously.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should have:
A B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent (M.Sc. is a plus).
At least 8 years of experience in Java server-side development, including cloud services (preferably AWS).
Proficiency in C# and .NET.
Proven experience in building complex, large-scale software solutions from scratch to live production.
Expertise in technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data, JPA, Swagger, Maven, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Jenkins, GIT, RESTful Services, and Docker.
Strong analytical skills and a “Can-Do” mentality.
Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
Financial industry knowledge is a plus.
The ability to learn and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Day-to-Day
Your typical day will include:
Collaborating with a team of talented developers to enhance our Portfolio Optimization products.
Designing and implementing innovative software solutions.
Engaging with product managers to align on feature roadmaps and deliverables.
Making key technological and architectural decisions to drive the product forward.
Developing and maintaining responsive and accessible UI applications.
Sharing your expertise and mentoring team members to foster a culture of continuous learning.
