Key Responsibilities:
Install, align, and test shipboard machinery and equipment
Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems including pumps, valves, and engines
Use precision measuring tools to ensure proper fit and alignment
Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and work orders
Collaborate with other trades to meet project timelines and quality standards
Requirements:
Prior experience as an Outside Machinist in ship repair or equivalent military experience
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools
Ability to work in confined spaces and onboard vessels
