About the Role
Position Title: Procurement Specialist Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting Contract - Procurement Specialist opportunity. Job Responsibilities: Issue and manage purchase orders to suppliers in a timely and accurate manner Follow up with vendors to confirm order status and ensure on-time delivery aligned with need-by dates Perform basic sourcing activities for parts and materials as required Review and track order confirmations to ensure accuracy in pricing, quantities, and delivery timelines Coordinate logistics, including shipment tracking and resolving delivery issues Maintain accurate records of orders, supplier communications, and delivery status Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders on order status, risks, and delays Support continuous improvement of procurement processes and workflows. Job Qualifications: 1–3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain support roles Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities simultaneously Effective communication skills for working with suppliers and internal teams Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment.
