As our Engineering Manager, you’ll drive excellence, foster innovation, and shape the future of Equiniti’s products. You’ll be at the heart of our mission, guiding teams to create solutions that make a global impact. What You’ll Do Lead & Mentor: Empower engineers through coaching, guidance, and mentorship. Build a culture of ownership, pride, and high performance. Champion Best Practices: Drive adoption of agile methodologies and software development standards to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery. Innovate & Optimize: Identify and implement the best engineering models for our business, and continuously improve processes to meet market needs Reduce Technical Debt: Advocate for and prioritize technical debt reduction, working closely with Product teams. Collaborate Across Functions: Build strong relationships with central teams (risk, compliance, InfoSec) and ensure timely execution of corrective actions. Drive Talent Growth: Hire, develop, and retain top talent through succession planning and talent reviews. Set Release Strategy: Define and oversee release policies, ensuring smooth transitions from development to production. Enhance Applications: Manage enhancements, advise on security, licensing, upgrades, and disaster recovery. What You’ll Bring Technical Degree: Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Product SaaS Experience: Proven track record in engineering development for SaaS organizations, ideally with exposure to financial systems, risk management, and financial services. Programming Languages & Frameworks: ASP.NET, .NET Core, C#, Object Pascal/Delphi, Classic ASP WCF, Web API, Windows Services HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery UI, SASS, Angular, TypeScript, Vue.js. Full Stack Development: REST Services, Database Design, Responsive Web Design, Dependency Injection Dapper, Entity Framework, LINQ & Lambda, PowerShell. Testing & Quality: Unit and integration testing, modern patterns, and practices Web accessibility standards, web security principles. DevOps & Release Management: SAST and DAST tools Microservices architecture Source code control (e.g., Git) Awareness of Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Blue/Green Deployments. Content Management Systems: Experience with CMS platforms. Data Access & Persistence: ORM frameworks, configuration management, release readiness. Leadership Qualities: Creative thinking, continuous learning, ownership, time management, decision-making, accountability.
