Street Lighting Engineer

<p><strong>Street Lighting Engineer needed in North London Paying  £27.56 per hr  ref 013686</strong></p> <p><strong>Full time hours on a temporary basis</strong></p> <p><em>Key Responsibilities</em></p> <ul> <li>Design, specify and implement street lighting and illuminated traffic sign schemes.</li> <li>Manage street lighting maintenance programmes and improvement projects.</li> <li>Undertake inspections, condition assessments and asset management activities.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards and industry best practice.</li> <li>Prepare technical specifications, drawings, reports, budgets and project documentation.</li> <li>Manage contractors and monitor performance, quality, health and safety, and project delivery.</li> <li>Investigate lighting defects, customer enquiries and technical issues, providing practical solutions.</li> <li>Support energy efficiency and carbon reduction initiatives, including LED conversion programmes.</li> <li>Liaise with developers, utility companies, highways teams, local stakeholders and other partners.</li> <li>Provide technical advice on street lighting, electrical infrastructure and highway illumination projects.</li> </ul> <p>If you are interested in the role, please email your CV to verity@essentialemploy.co.uk quoting the reference number. </p> <p>Essential Employment is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
