What you'll do as a Food Production Supervisor:
Execute Daily Production Plans: Lead the execution of the daily grading plan, ensuring output, accuracy, and quality standards are met.
Prepare & Oversee Floor Operations: Ensure the grader, equipment, materials, and team are ready for efficient production at the start of each shift.
Lead Daily Team Huddles: Set clear expectations for safety, quality, and production goals before each shift.
Supervise & Direct a 15-20 Person Team: Provide hands-on leadership on the floor, give real-time direction, and address performance or workflow issues immediately.
Drive Production Efficiency: Monitor workflow throughout the shift, proactively resolve bottlenecks, and minimize downtime.
Ensure Compliance & Food Safety Standards: Oversee adherence to SOPs, SQF standards, and all food safety and quality requirements.
Verify Production Accuracy: Review grade-outs and production data daily to ensure reporting reflects actual results.
Coordinate Shift Transitions: Partner with the Early Morning Shift Supervisor to ensure smooth communication and continuity between shifts.
Maintain a Safe, Respectful Work Environment: Model professionalism, enforce safety standards, and promote accountability across the team.
Support Operational Needs: Assist with additional production or facility needs as required.
Our Ideal Food Production Supervisor:
Experienced Floor Leader: 2+ years of hands-on leadership experience supervising 10+ employees in a food production, agriculture, manufacturing, or other fast-paced production environment. Proven responsibility for daily operations, team performance, and accountability.
Values-Aligned: Personally supports and lives out Westfield Egg Farm's mission, vision, and faith-based core values. Comfortable working in a conservative, family-oriented environment. Professional, modest appearance required.
