The ideal candidate will bring strong SolidWorks design experience, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams to drive projects to successful launch.</p> <p>OVERVIEW</p> <p>Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, this position will play a key role in the design, development, validation, and launch of innovative engineered products within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.</p> <p>This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on mechanical design engineer who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges, working closely with manufacturing and suppliers, and driving products from concept through production readiness.</p> <p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>• Design and develop component models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings utilizing SolidWorks<br /> • Create and manage complete master assemblies for new product development programs<br /> • Utilize SolidWorks Simulation / FEA tools to analyze and optimize product designs<br /> • Participate in DFMEA activities and apply results to improve product reliability and performance<br /> • Collaborate with internal manufacturing teams and external suppliers to ensure design manufacturability and production readiness<br /> • Conduct drawing reviews with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams<br /> • Perform tolerance stack-up analysis to optimize fit, function, and assembly performance<br /> • Support product testing and validation activities while incorporating findings into design improvements<br /> • Lead and organize design reviews to ensure cross-functional alignment throughout the development process<br /> • Independently drive component and assembly designs through development, validation, and release phases<br /> • Support project timing, cost targets, and engineering deliverables to ensure successful product launches</p> <p>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline<br /> • 5–7 years (+) of relevant product design or mechanical engineering experience<br /> • Strong proficiency with SolidWorks parts, assemblies, and detailed drawings<br /> • Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented engineering environment<br /> • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills<br /> • Ability to take ownership of projects and drive results independently</p> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>• Experience designing complex mechanical assemblies<br /> • Hydraulic systems or hydraulic component experience preferred<br /> • Experience utilizing SolidWorks FEA / Simulation tools<br /> • Background supporting products from concept through production launch</p>
