Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with SEN.
• Differentiate learning activities to support a range of learning abilities and additional needs.
• Work closely with teaching assistants, the SENCO, and other professionals to support pupil progress.
• Monitor, assess, and record student achievement, adapting teaching strategies where required.
• Promote positive behaviour and build strong, supportive relationships with pupils.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching pupils with special educational needs in a primary, secondary, or specialist setting.
• Strong subject knowledge in Science.
• Excellent communication, patience, and adaptability.
• A commitment to inclusive education and supporting pupils to achieve their best.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
