A professional Housekeeper Cook is required for a private family in Mill Hill, North West London. The household comprises two adults and one teenage child (currently at boarding school).
The role involves collaborating with an existing live-in housekeeper to ensure the smooth running of the home. Key responsibilities include planning and preparing healthy, balanced meals, performing daily housekeeping duties, and supporting the household team as needed.
Job specification:
Plan and prepare fresh, nutritious meals for 1–3 people daily (lunch and lighter dinner)
Maintain a well-organised kitchen; keep all essentials stocked
Occasionally cook for guests; larger dinner parties catered by a chef
Undertake daily housekeeping duties alongside the existing housekeeper
Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management
Wash and change linens and towels
Care for delicate surfaces and high-end appliances
Organise and maintain the home; ensure all areas remain tidy and orderly
Candidate specification:
Experience working in high-net-worth (HNW) homes
Confident following recipes; enjoys cooking, preferably Mediterranean cuisine
Ability to work collaboratively with household staff
Strong communication skills
Pet-friendly (family has two cats)
Skilled with premium/high-end household appliances
Flexible, proactive, and professional
DBS check required at offer stage
