About the Role
<p>We are looking for a dynamic and skilled City Project Manager Engineering to oversee important infrastructure projects that enhance the cities in which we operate. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with various municipalities and utility districts in the area to support the planning, design, and construction of vital water and wastewater facilities. Working alongside diverse teams within the organization, you will provide comprehensive solutions to our municipal clients.</p>
<h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3>

<p>Lead projects involving municipal water and wastewater from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.</p>

<p>Manage client relationships and deliver top-notch technical solutions.</p>

<p>Create detailed construction documents, technical reports, and specifications.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Oversee construction activities and offer technical assistance during implementation.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Use engineering tools and software to develop plans and designs according to industry standards.</p>

<li>
<p>Guide junior staff in technical aspects, project management, and client service.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Coordinate with local authorities, utility companies, and stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals and permits.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Contribute to business development efforts to expand the Helena Municipal Group’s presence, including proposal preparation and client presentations.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Collaborate with senior management to strengthen client relationships and grow the firm’s municipal project portfolio.</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>BS in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>At least 7 years of experience in municipal water and wastewater projects.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>PE license in Montana or eligibility to obtain one within 6 months.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage projects efficiently.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>

<p>Over 10 years of progressive experience in water and wastewater infrastructure design.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Demonstrated success in managing project teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Established client relationships and a track record in business development.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Active participation in relevant professional organizations.</p>
