Krakow-based opportunity with hybrid work model (up to 3 days remote) As a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution dedicated to delivering cutting-edge banking solutions. You will help build and support a resilient, scalable, and automated AWS foundation platform that empowers project teams worldwide to adopt cloud services securely and efficiently. Your main responsibilities: Contribute to the development and maintenance of core platform services and tools using Terraform, Python, and JavaScript/React. Automate the provisioning and management of AWS accounts and infrastructure with tools such as AWS SSM Automations, Ansible, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, Lambda, and Step Functions. Develop secure, compliant infrastructure artifacts, including Terraform modules, to support project teams. Build and evolve the Security Compliance Framework, utilizing tools like JupiterOne and Wiz to ensure adherence to strict cybersecurity standards. Support project teams in deploying secure, reliable, and scalable systems leveraging AWS services such as IAM, EC2, VPC, S3, and RHEL. Lead incident investigations, provide on-call support, and mentor junior colleagues to foster a collaborative, high-performance environment. You're ideal for this role if you have: At least 6 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or related fields. Extensive experience with AWS services (more than 50 used in your infra). Strong scripting skills in Python and experience with automation tools. Practical understanding of Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Terraform, Ansible, Git. Proven success in delivering enterprise infrastructure projects. Solid knowledge of Linux and/or Windows OS ecosystems. A deep belief that security is fundamental and expertise in AWS security best practices. Excellent communication skills in English, fluent and comfortable in a collaborative environment. Experience working in Agile teams. It is a strong plus if you have: Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect. Experience with Cyber Security frameworks like JupiterOne or Wiz.
