Our client is seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join a dynamic team delivering major building projects, planned maintenance programmes, and innovative decarbonisation solutions across a diverse property portfolio. If you are passionate about managing building projects from concept to completion and want to make a tangible impact on your community, this is the role for you.

Your journey as a Building Surveyor will include:
* Managing capital building projects up to £2M, including tender preparation, evaluation, contract administration, and stage payments
* Leading condition surveys, planned and cyclical maintenance programmes, and building repair works from commissioning to completion
* Ensuring compliance with current Health & Safety regulations, including CDM and asbestos control, and undertaking annual asbestos surveys
* Supporting insurance valuations, dilapidation surveys, and energy efficiency improvements
* Acting as Employers Agent/Contract Administrator for capital projects and overseeing external contractors to ensure quality, safety, and value for money
* Deputising for the Senior Building Surveyor when required, supporting the delivery of the overall capital programme

You'll thrive as a Building Surveyor if you have:
* A degree in building surveying or equivalent qualification
* Full membership (or working towards) RICS, RIBA, or CIOB
* Practical experience in building repairs, maintenance, and M&E
* Knowledge of building construction, contract management, and health & safety regulations
* Experience managing budgets from £15K to £1M and leading project delivery
* Excellent communication, organisational, and collaborative skills
* Experience with AutoCAD LT2026 (desirable)
* Creativity and innovation in project planning and delivery
* Strong time management and self-motivation skills
