<p><strong>Job Title: </strong>Controls Technician<br /><strong>Location: </strong>Chattanooga, TN<br /><strong>Job Type: </strong>Full-Time</p>
<p>We’re seeking a <strong>Controls Technician</strong> in the <strong>Chattanooga, TN</strong> area! </p>
<p>This is a <strong>hands-on, field-based role</strong> focused on testing and startup of industrial electrical and controls systems. We’re looking for someone <strong>local to Chattanooga</strong> who can hit the ground running.<strong></strong></p>
<p><em>Note: This is not a software development role. The ideal candidate will be experienced with electrical and controls hardware and capable of executing system testing and commissioning.</em></p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Perform onsite testing, commissioning, and startup of control systems and equipment</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Configure and set up <strong>PLCs, drives, HMIs</strong>, and other controls hardware</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Follow and verify documented test procedures and checklists</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Troubleshoot and resolve electrical/control issues in the field</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure successful system deployment</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Hands-on experience with <strong>controls hardware</strong>, including PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, etc.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ability to <strong>configure and set up automation components</strong> (not necessarily write software from scratch)</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Familiarity with electrical schematics, wiring, and control panels</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Willingness to work onsite at customer facilities around Chattanooga</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Preferred</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Electrical or technical degree or relevant work experience</p>
</li>
