The incumbent also creates relevant reporting tools, such as dashboards and front-end reports using various platforms and research tools. An employee in this position serves as a liaison to various internal units, teams, committees, and external vendors.<br /><br /><b>CORE JOB FUNCTIONS</b></p><ul><li>Performs a variety of data analytics to support the needs, goals, and objectives of the institution.</li><li>Formulates term-specific, ad hoc, and trending reports.</li><li>Develops and models inventory and supply and demand analysis. </li><li>Analyzes information in reports to support the department’s planning needs, goals, and objectives.</li><li>Develops groupings of statistical reports.</li><li>Collaborates with staff to develop and implement improved reporting tools.</li><li>Provides feedback to and works cooperatively with software vendors.</li><li>Designs, develops, and maintains existing dashboards.</li><li>Participates in the organization and presentation of information systems to demonstrate best practices. </li><li>Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.</li><li>Works in partnership with Business Analysts to support business operations.</li><li>Communicates directly with users for data gathering sessions</li><li>Acts as Tier 1 Customer Support for issues related to existing data dashboards and data validation efforts.</li></ul><p><br />This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities as necessary.<br /><br /><b>CORE QUALIFICATIONS</b><br />Education:<br />Associate’s degree in <span>Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field required.</span><br /><br /><b>Experience:</b><br />Minimum 1 year of relevant experience. Understanding of Clinical Research Protocols is highly preferred.
