Role Summary: At Filevine, you will design and deploy cutting-edge NLP models for tasks like medical summarization, credibility analysis, and contradiction detection, while continuously improving our transcription pipelines and internal AI automation processes. You'll collaborate with engineers to integrate models into production, ensure system stability and accuracy, and drive innovation in NLP, particularly within legal and medical domains, leveraging tools like Python, PyTorch, and AWS. Responsibilities Develop and improve NLP models for tasks such as medical summarization, credibility analysis, and contradiction detection Continuous improvement of our automatic transcription pipeline and automation of internal processes using AI Ensure high accuracy, stable processes, and optimized infrastructure/monitoring around the models Effectively communicate technical machine learning results in a business context Collaborate with our full-stack engineering team to ensure seamless implementation of ML models in production Promote excellence and best practices across the machine learning team in research, implementation, tooling, and system design Conceptualize and implement new ML ideas in the NLP domain, from validation to production Qualifications Good communication and writing skills in English At least 3 years of experience in machine learning roles involving end-to-end ownership of projects Strong background in NLP; experience with ASR is a plus Advanced experience with PyTorch or other modeling toolkits Good understanding of software engineering principles Working experience with deep learning techniques, particularly in NLP applications Team spirit and independent problem-solving mindset Experience with or interest in legal or medical domain NLP applications is a plus Ability to meet periodically in our Prague office as we value in-person collaboration
