Science Teacher Colne

About the role:

Justteachers is seeking an Science Teacher  who is looking for a Long term role, in a Secondary school in the Colne area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence from September 2026 – The school are looking at meeting with candidates soon to shortlist.

A well‑established secondary setting known for its strong pastoral ethos and inclusive culture. The school prides itself on high expectations, supportive leadership, and a calm learning environment where staff feel valued and pupils are encouraged to aim high.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach KS3/KS4 art across a range of mediums
• Plan creative projects that develop skills and expression
• Assess coursework and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain a safe studio environment for all pupils

Pre-requisites:

• Subject knowledge in biology chemistry and physics
• QTS status or equivalent
• Classroom management skills
• Curriculum understanding for KS3 and KS4
