Correction services leverage data taken from global navigation satellite systems (GNSS, sometimes called GPS).
Depending on the required accuracies and start-up times, real-time kinematic (RTK) or precise point positioning (PPP) is used to determine the exact location of an asset.
RTK positioning calculates the asset’s precise position within seconds in relation to a specific set of reference stations or a regional network of stations. PPP calculates precise clock, orbit, and bias data, all within a global reference framework, but with slower convergence or initialization times on the user side.
