Network Engineer

A growing organisation is looking for a Network Engineer to join a project-focused team delivering network and infrastructure solutions across a range of client environments.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone looking to move away from BAU support into project delivery, working across modern network technologies and security-focused environments.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering network projects including implementations, upgrades and migrations
• Working across routing, switching and network security environments
• Supporting firewalls, VPNs and connectivity solutions
• Assisting with network optimisation and performance improvements
• Troubleshooting issues across client environments
• Producing technical documentation and following best practices

What we're looking for

• Experience in a Network Engineer or 3rd line role
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Cisco (or similar - Juniper / Aruba / HP)
  • Routing & switching
  • Firewalls and VPNs
• Understanding of network security and modern networking concepts
• Exposure to project work or a desire to move into a project-focused role

Certifications such as CCNA are beneficial but not essential
