<li>Manage large tax returns and delegate tasks to tax preparers as needed.</li>
<li>Participate in client meetings and contribute to tax planning for major clients.</li>
<li>Take charge of preparing intricate business tax returns.</li>
<li>Provide client service for designated clients and represent them before tax authorities.</li>
<li>Supervise tax audits and may attend meetings with taxing authorities on behalf of clients.</li>
<li>Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the firm’s tax guidelines and principles.</li>
<li>Occasional local and out-of-town travel for client meetings and seminars.</li>
<li>Expect heavy overtime during tax season, potentially exceeding 55 hours per week.</li>
<li>Contribute to the firm’s practice growth through community and industry engagement.</li>

<li><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities:</strong></li>
<li>Develop and train senior, semi-seniors, and staff accountants.</li>
<li>Stay informed about tax staff qualifications and ensure appropriate assignments.</li>
<li>Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to tax staff.</li>
<li>Evaluate performance, develop training tools, and lead professional development programs.</li>

<h3>Requirements</h3>

<li>Minimum of three years’ public accounting experience with increasing tax complexity.</li>
<li>At least two years representing clients in front of tax authorities.</li>
<li>One year supervising tax preparers and directing their work.</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Master’s in taxation preferred.</li>
<li>CPA license or in progress of obtaining one.</li>
<li>Forty hours of annual continuing education for skill maintenance.</li>
