Occupational Therapist - Major Adaptations Team Location: Suffolk (Hybrid Working) Rate: £35 per hour (Umbrella) Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Major Adaptations Team within Independent Living Suffolk. This is a hybrid role offering flexible working with 2-3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. Office Base Options: * Riverside House, Lowestoft (NR33 0EQ) * Riduna Park, Woodbridge * Beacon House, Ipswich Role OverviewYou will be responsible for delivering safe and timely front-line Occupational Therapy services, supporting individuals to remain independent and safe in their own homes through the provision of major adaptations. Key Responsibilities* Deliver safe and timely Occupational Therapy assessments and reviews across the directorate * Carry out triage and assessments for major adaptations via Disabled Facilities Grants (DFG) * Work closely with District and Borough Councils to support the provision of suitable adaptations and equipment * Support disabled residents to maintain independence and safety within their homes * Provide mutual aid to other Occupational Therapy service areas when required Requirements* Qualified Occupational Therapist with relevant professional registration (HCPC) * Experience working with major adaptations and Disabled Facilities Grants (DFG) * Experience completing community-based Occupational Therapy assessments * Strong understanding of equipment and adaptation provision to support independent living Benefits of working with Eden Brown Synergy include* DBS check processed and paid for by Eden Brown Synergy * Referral bonus if you refer a colleague or friend to us * Bonus for finding your own job * Twice weekly payroll * Dedicated recruitment consultant who will support you throughout your job search, employment and beyond If you are interested in this position, please send your CV to Shristi Yadav at or call 0114 700 3826 for more information.
