<h2>Field Service Engineer. Heavy Plant</h2>
<p><strong>South West (Field-Based)</strong><br /><strong>£35,000 – £42,000 + Door-to-Door Pay + Overtime + Company Vehicle</strong></p>
<p>A growing, family-run engineering business is looking to recruit a <strong>Field Service Engineer</strong> to support customers across the South West and wider UK.</p>
<p>This is a home-based role, working on a range of heavy plant equipment, providing servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and statutory inspections.</p>
<h3>The Role</h3>
<ul>
<li>Service, maintain and repair heavy plant machinery on customer sites</li>
<li>Diagnose hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults</li>
<li>Carry out LOLER and PUWER inspections</li>
<li>Complete digital service reports and job sheets</li>
<li>Build strong relationships with customers in the field</li>
</ul>
<h3>Requirements</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Plant Maintenance, Heavy Vehicle, or similar. essential</strong></li>
<li>Proven experience working on heavy plant equipment</li>
<li>Strong fault-finding skills across hydraulic and electrical systems</li>
<li>Ability to work independently in a field-based role</li>
<li>Experience using diagnostic tools</li>
<li>Full UK driving licence</li>
</ul>
<h3>Package</h3>
<ul>
<li>£35,000 – £42,000 basic salary</li>
<li>Door-to-door pay</li>
<li>Overtime available</li>
<li>Company vehicle, phone and tablet provided</li>
