Their work spans trade marks, designs, copyright, advertising, brand protection, enforcement and wider intellectual property strategy.Lawyers within the team enjoy a high level of client exposure and responsibility, working directly alongside senior lawyers while benefiting from excellent support, training and long-term progression opportunities.The RoleThis is an opportunity for a Trade Mark Attorney or IP Solicitor to join a growing Branding team, supporting the firm's expanding UK and European trade mark offering. Working closely with the partner and wider team, you will advise clients on all aspects of brand protection, portfolio management and intellectual property strategy, handling a broad mix of advisory, prosecution and enforcement work.Your responsibilities will include:Advising on trade mark and design availability, registration and protection strategiesConducting clearance searches and assessing potential conflicts and risksManaging UK, EU and international trade mark and design filing programmesProtecting and developing client intellectual property portfoliosAdvising on copyright and related intellectual property rightsSupporting brand enforcement, anti-counterfeiting and online protection strategiesDrafting and reviewing trade mark assignments, licences and related agreementsAssisting with contentious matters alongside specialist dispute resolution lawyersBuilding and maintaining strong client relationships across a diverse client baseSupporting business development initiatives and contributing to the continued growth of the practiceMentoring and supervising junior lawyers, trainees and paralegalsThis role offers excellent exposure to sophisticated and high-profile brand protection work within a genuinely sector-focused practice, together with a clear platform for further progression.RequirementsQualified Solicitor (England & Wales) and/or UK Qualified Trade Mark AttorneyBetween 0 - 5 years' post-qualification experienceStrong experience gained within a recognised trade mark or intellectual property practiceExtensive experience advising on UK trade mark prosecution and portfolio management mattersExperience handling UK and European trade mark filingsStrong understanding of copyright, brand protection and wider intellectual property issuesExperience advising on trade mark enforcement and online brand protection matters would be advantageousExcellent technical and commercial judgementStrong communication and client relationship skillsAbility to manage a varied workload and work effectively within a collaborative team environmentAn interest in business development and contributing to the continued growth of the practiceApply now for immediate consideration or feel free to reach out to Charlie Simpkin/Sophie Avery for a confidential conversation.
