TIG Welder

Pertemps are currently seeking TIG Welders to join a leading manufacturing business, based in Gainsborough on a full time, ongoing basis. <br>  <br> <strong><em>What will I be paid?</em></strong><br><ul><li>AM Shift - £14.50. Overtime, £21.75ph (Mon to Sat) & £29ph (Sun)</li><ul><li>PM Shift - £16.35ph. Overtime, £21.75ph (Mon to Sat) & £29ph (Sun)</li></ul></ul> <br><strong><em>Working hours:</em></strong> <br> There are 2 shifts you can choose from, you will NOT rotate<br><ul><li>AM Shift - Monday to Friday – 06:00 to 14:30</li><ul><li>PM Shift - Monday to Thursday – 14:30 to 01:00</li></ul></ul><strong><em> </em></strong><br><strong><em>What will I be doing as a TIG Welder?</em></strong><br><ul><li>Welding components in stainless and mild steel using TIG or gas fusion welding techniques</li><ul><li>Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and weld symbols to meet customer specifications</li><li>Using jigs, fixtures, and measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and minimise scrap</li><li>Completing check sheets for traceability in line with standards</li><li>Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment</li><li>Reporting any issues, defects, or safety concerns to the Team Leader promptly</li></ul></ul> <br> <strong><em>What skills and experience do I need?</em></strong><br><ul><li>Some experience in welding techniques, particularly TIG or gas fusion welding, up to 2mm thick (stainless steel)</li><ul><li>Ability to work from Standard Operating Procedures and use jigs/fixtures for quality control</li><li>Health and Safety awareness and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment</li><li>Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset</li><li>Enthusiastic, reliable, and team-oriented attitude</li><li>Ability to read engineering drawings and weld symbols</li><li>Experience in a manufacturing or factory environment</li><li>Reliable transport to reach site</li></ul></ul><br>  <br> <strong><em>How to Apply:</em></strong> <br>This is an ongoing recruitment campaign managed by Pertemps, who operate as an employment agency.
