In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting positive outcomes. You will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to assess needs, develop care plans, and implement interventions that support families in achieving their goals. Your key responsibilities will include: Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify strengths and areas for improvement. Developing and reviewing care plans in partnership with families, ensuring that interventions are tailored to individual needs. Providing supervision and support to junior staff and students, fostering a culture of learning and development. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local and national standards. Collaborating with external agencies and stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to service delivery. To be considered for this role, you must possess a recognized social work qualification (CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. You should have substantial experience in child protection and safeguarding, along with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and best practices. In addition, excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this position.
