About the role: Justteachers are working with a Bradford secondary school to appoint an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of Geography to join its dedicated Humanities faculty. This is a full-time role to start in September 2026 and run on a long-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving department that plays a vital role in inspiring students to explore the physical and human landscapes of our world, develop critical thinking skills and foster a deeper understanding of environmental and cultural issues. Key Responsibilities: Deliver a broad and balanced Geography curriculum aligned with national standards and school values Teach to KS4 Inspire students through creative and inclusive teaching strategies Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively Contribute to departmental planning, moderation, and resource development Pre-requisites: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Strong academic background in Geography or a related discipline Proven ability to teach Geography across a range of abilities and age groups Excellent classroom management and communication skills Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice Two school-based references
